This site is about my life, work and play. Many people ask me about those things when there isn't time to adequately answer their questions, so I have created this site.
Things they ask me about: my medical practice, delivering babies, holistic medicine, caring for menopause, my artwork and music, my medicine songs, performing weddings and other rites of passage, facilitating healing circles, women's hormonal wisdom, radio show interviews, plant medicine, shamanism and so forth. I am a Medicine Man. Here is information on my "medicine". My medical practice as a Holistic Gynecologist and Osteopathic Physician. Also my medicine as a Healer and Teacher and my involvement in Community. I will also discuss those individuals who have helped shape my medicine.
Moontime and Menopause Medicine Wheel:
I like using a cross cultural approach to The Medicine Wheel to help guide me in life. The medicine wheel influences how I perceive and teach Woman's Hormonal Wisdom (the body of information on women's menstrual cycles, reproduction and menopause). Every Fine Instrument Needs To Be Tuned offers my pearls of wisdom collected through years of holistic medical practice. The Art of Hormone Replacement Therapy provides information on this area of my expertise.
Ritual and Ceremony :
My interest in ritual and ceremony spans 35 years, it is an important part of my life. This includes meditation and chanting (Aum), a series of 60 Full Moon Fires, performing Weddings and other Rites of Passage and Blessing Ceremonies (such as birth and water blessings, medicine wheels for home and business, life transition ceremonies). Aumdoc is currently training by facilitating HEALING CIRCLES.
Temple of Health Radio Show:
I have the pleasure of co-hosting Millennium Healthcare's weekly radio show, Temple of Health. This show brings you conversations with national and international experts on the cutting edge of healing. The topics covered include Holistic Medicine, Alternative Medicine, Spirituality and the interface between spirituality and healing (i.e. Spiritual Medicine). My co-hosts are Dr. Susan Kolb and Dr. Linda Rayner. Here is information on the show and an archive of some of my favorite shows (in the near future).
